The 2022 National Clubs Carnival was held on Queensland’s Gold Coast. The last time this event was held was 2019 before there was a 2 year break due to the pandemic, so we were so excited to make the trip with our team this year.
This event brings clubs together from all over Australia, with athletes competing to earn club points from level 4 right up to senior. Our team of 29 athletes, many of whom were competing at this event for the first time were part of over 30 clubs competing in trampoline sports events.
Kachan School of Tumbling & Performance athletes outdid themselves not just on the competition floor but as teammates, turning up to the venue for every session and supporting each other over the four days of competition, as a club we couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of them.
The results were some of our strongest team finishes to date.
- 1st Level 4 Champion Club
- 1st Level 5 Champion Club
- 1st Level 6 Champion Club
- Youth Champion Club
- 4th Elite Levels Champion Club.
In the disciplines, KSTP finished:
- 7th in Trampoline
- 3rd in Double Mini Trampoline
- 1st in Tumbling, a title we’ve held consecutively for several years now, proving that even after a two year break, we are still the strongest tumbling club in the country!
These impressive results saw us walk away the 2nd Overall Champion Club for 2022!
In the individual all-around athlete award, KSTP had 6 athletes in the top 10. Congratulations to the following athletes:
- Cheyanna 2nd
- Isaac 4th
- Alexsa 5th
- Madi 6th
- Timofei 7th
- Jordan 8th
In conjunction with the all-around results, KSTP athletes won the following medals:
- 17 gold
- 6 silver
- 4 bronze
It should also be noted that all our athletes made the finals in if not all their events, at least one, meaning that all their commitment and hard work in the lead up to National Clubs certainly paid off.
We like to thank and congratulate our entire team for their contributions to these amazing results, we are so proud and happy for all of Team KSTP consisting of athletes, parents, supporters, volunteers, judges and of course our team of coaches who worked tirelessly for our team the entire competition.
Another successful event for our small but mighty team.
