KSTP hit the competition floor after a 12months covid-19 break.
After a long break from competitions due to the pandemic, it was so great to see our athletes back out there on the competition floor, competing as team KSTP once again. Senior State Championships was the first major competition on the calendar and the final qualifier for the Australian Championships and didn’t our athletes deliver!
The 3 daylong event was held at Sydney Gymnastics Centre in Rooty Hill from the 9th to 11th April. With many outstanding routines and personal bests, all athletes and their families can hold their head high knowing they did themselves and our club proud.
Senior State Championships was a very successful competition for KSTP athletes and coaches, of our 19 representatives we had 16 qualify for a spot on the NSW State Team, which will see them travel to the Gold Coast in May for the Australian Championships.
Our impressive results include;
14 GOLD medals, 11 silver medals, 5 bronze medals and 2nd Overall in the Club Rankings.
